Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery/OBGYN night shift position requiring a ME or compact RN license and at least 2 years of experience.

Details

  • Work in the Maternity/OBGYN unit of a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule
  • Uses Epic EMR
  • Float policy requires floating within a 25-mile radius between facilities as needed

Requirements

  • Active RN license (ME or Compact) required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience required
  • AHA certifications must be completed prior to start if not already held
  • Valid Driver's License required for consideration
  • 2 professional references required

Additional Information

  • Provide nursing care within the Labor & Delivery/Obstetrics unit
  • Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are considered local, with adjusted bill rates
  • Local travelers are not eligible for contract renewals or extensions
  • Candidates who worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months must disclose this during consideration
  • RTO should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract at manager's discretion
  • AirPods, laptops, and cell phone usage are prohibited on the unit
