Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) specialty position located in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing care within a high-volume delivery setting, requiring circulating, scrub, and high acuity experience. The position emphasizes flexibility to float within the same discipline across local campuses and involves night shifts. The assignment offers opportunities for professional growth within a dynamic clinical environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: At least 2 years of current Labor and Delivery (LD) experience, circulating experience, scrubbing experience preferred, multiple completed travel contracts preferred, EPIC STORK experience preferred, high-risk experience required, recent experience at high-volume delivery centers (200-300 deliveries/month), experience within the past year, must be comfortable floating to post-partum.
- Additional Information:
- Must have a labor and delivery/LD skills checklist specific to the discipline.
- Work history/resume/employment history must reflect 24 months of current LD experience.
- Valid Iowa license, BLS, ACLS, and fetal monitoring certification through the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN), as well as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, are required.
- Drivers license document required.
- Submission of professional references from within the past 24 months is preferred.
- Shift orientation scheduled throughout July, August, September, October, and November 2026.
- Candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility based on drivers license.
