Job Summary:
A Mother/Baby Couplet Care Registered Nurse is needed in Silver City, New Mexico. This position involves providing quality care to maternal and newborn patients in a maternal child health setting, including labor, delivery, and nursery care. The RN will collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient needs are met through the nursing process, functioning primarily as a primary RN with potential for floated assignments to other hospital units.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/31/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Current New Mexico or Multi-State Nursing Licensure; Basic Life Support (AHA) upon hire; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA) upon hire; Neonatal Resuscitation Program upon hire; AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification upon hire.
• Preferred Qualifications: STABLE certification; Baby Friendly experience, preferred.
• Experience: Three years of experience in Labor and Delivery, three years in Nursery, and three years in Medical Surgical (Med-Surg).
• Additional Information: This position is for a contractor replacement to support maternal and neonatal care services in a hospital setting. The RN may be floated to other hospital areas as directed by leadership and is expected to follow departmental guidance to maintain high standards of care and safety.
