Job Summary:
Maternal Child Health Registered Nurse (RN) Mother/Baby Couplet Care located in Silver City, New Mexico. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care in maternal, labor & delivery, nursery, and GYN units. The RN will function as a primary caregiver for a designated patient group, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care in a Level II Nursery and Mother-Baby environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid New Mexico or multi-state licensure, Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) required upon hire, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (American Heart Association) required upon hire, Neonatal Resuscitation Program required upon hire, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification required upon hire, STABLE certification preferred, Baby-Friendly experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certification in relevant specialty areas.
• Additional Information: The position involves working on nights with scheduled weekends required, every third weekend. The role includes potential float responsibilities to other hospital areas as directed by hospital leadership or the House Supervisor. Block scheduling is available upon request.
