Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The assignment begins on 09/28/2026 and concludes on 12/28/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid California State License as a Registered Nurse, with at least 5 years of experience, including 4 years of patient ratio experience, and 1 year of hospital or labor and delivery experience. Certifications include Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Women's Health and Obstetric Nursing (AWHONN) Advanced and Intermediate, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Fetal Monitoring.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with community hospital settings and familiarity with specific charting systems.
  • Additional Information: The candidate should be proficient in procedures such as neonatal assessment, fetal monitoring, labor and delivery support, postpartum and newborn care, and emergency response protocols. Responsibilities include assisting with high-risk deliveries, performing sterile speculum exams, epidural placement, and neonatal stabilization. The role involves managing a daily census of four patients across five rooms, supporting interdisciplinary teams, and adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards.
