Job Requirements

• Current Indiana RN license or compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Intermediate electronic fetal monitoring experience required
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• STABLE certification preferred
• Experience with cervical exams and fetal monitor interpretation
• Familiarity with AWHONN guidelines preferred
• Experience using EPIC charting preferred
• Ability to work every other weekend as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for laboring, postpartum, pre-term, and newborn patients
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean deliveries, and neonatal resuscitation
• Monitor fetal status and interpret fetal tracings accurately
• Support safe, compassionate care for mother-baby couplets
• Document patient care in EPIC and help maintain an efficient clinical workflow
• Use clinical tools and equipment such as fetal monitoring systems, IV pumps, and medication management systems
• Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
• Float rarely to Med Surg if needed
