Shift and Hours
- Shift: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, rotating/as needed
- Call: Required — 3 twelve-hour shifts per 4-week schedule
- Orientation: Every Monday
- Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 60 miles from the facility.
Requirements
- Active RN license valid for Tennessee
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Required Certifications:
- Labor & Delivery experience required
- Fetal monitoring experience required
- Must be able to work in Labor & Delivery, Nursery, and Postpartum units
- Must have a positive attitude, be cooperative, and demonstrate initiative.
Unit Information
- Labor Beds: 2
- Postpartum Beds: 3
- Patient Ratio: 1:2
- Charting System: Meditech
- Patient Population: Maternity patients and newborns
- Preferred Skills: Couplet care
- Preferred Certifications/Experience: PALS, Centricity, and Meditech experience
- Floating: As needed
- Scrub Color: Any color
- Unacceptable Attire: Casual clothing and other facility apparel
Compliance Requirements
- Tennessee Abuse Registry screening is required for all clinical staff.
- Screening results must be available before the assignment start date.
- All required certifications must be obtained before starting.

Highpoint Health–Riverview is a 25-bed critical access hospital located in Carthage, Tennessee, approximately one hour from Nashville. The facility provides maternity services, including labor and delivery, nursery, and postpartum care.
