Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience required
• BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring certifications required
• Strong experience with cervical exams, antepartum care, labor management, amnio infusions, epidurals, fetal monitoring, IVs, and Pitocin
• Ability to circulate C-sections and assist with baby catching/receiving
• Comfort providing or supporting postpartum care from transition through discharge for mother and baby
• Epic experience strongly preferred
• Scrub experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery and postpartum setting
• Monitor fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in maternal and newborn condition
• Support vaginal deliveries and assist with C-section circulation as needed
• Perform labor assessments, cervical checks, and ongoing maternal-fetal evaluations
• Administer and manage common L&D interventions in collaboration with the care team
• Deliver patient education and support families through labor, birth, and postpartum recovery
• Work collaboratively with physicians, midwives, and support staff in a Birth Center environment
