Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery RN needed in the L&D department at a healthcare facility. This full-time position involves providing compassionate patient care, conducting assessments, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes during labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
Job Details:
- Position: Labor and Delivery RN
- Location: Not specified (serving the healthcare provider's facility)
- Certifications: CA RN License, ACLS, BLS, AWHONN Advanced required
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in labor and delivery nursing preferred, with at least 2 years of experience required
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Additional Qualifications: Must have current Nursys license uploaded within the past 2 weeks; candidates are expected to meet compliance and onboarding requirements including labs within 3-5 days of contract signing and 7-year work history verification.
- Responsibilities: Provide evidence-based, patient-centered labor and delivery care, monitor patient responses, assist in vaginal deliveries, and contribute to patient education and safety initiatives. May serve as a clinical resource and mentor to new staff or students.
- Submission Requirements: All compliance documents due 10 days prior to start; references obtained within the last year; no separation time required for return staff.
