The role requires providing specialized maternal and neonatal care, supporting high-risk conditions, and ensuring patient safety and well-being during night shifts.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Care for laboring patients, including high-risk conditions such as pre-eclampsia and diabetes, with responsibilities for C-sections, external cephalic versions, and delivery support.
  • Certifications: AWHONN Advanced*, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP required in hand at time of submission.
  • Education and Experience: Valid KS or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license required; 2 years of experience preferred and a minimum of 0 years required.
  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 48 hours per week.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Assist with sterile speculum exams, high-risk labor delivery, postpartum care, neonatal resuscitation, and delivery procedures.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system and community hospital experience.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Submission Requirements: Submitments require a valid RN license, certifications in hand, and RTO listed at the time of submittal.
