Labor and Delivery (L&D) specialty nurse is needed for a facility located in the area. This role involves providing care for obstetric patients, including high-risk labor and delivery cases, postpartum patients, and neonates. The position offers nights shifts and the opportunity to work a flexible schedule with options for 36 or 48 hours per week, supporting a dynamic and patient-centered environment.

  • Location: Night shift, starting 09/23/2026 through 12/16/2026
  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Kansas or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission, 2 years of experience preferred, BLS (Basic Life Support), FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications required in hand at time of submission, ability to assist with high-risk delivery, postpartum care, and neonatal assessments
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge experience, experience with Epic charting system
  • Additional Information: The role involves caring for high-risk labor and delivery patients, assisting with cesarean sections, fetal monitoring, postpartum and neonatal care, and working within a Level II Special Care Nursery setting. The position requires floating to similar units within scope as needed, with a brief orientation provided on-site. Certifications in blood and blood products administration, amnioinfusion, antepartum, and other obstetric skills are highly preferred.
