Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) for a shift-based position in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized maternal and newborn care, including managing deliveries, circulating cesarean sections, and attendant antepartum and postpartum patients. The RN will support the units clinical operations, ensuring high standards of patient safety and care.
Job Details
- Position: Labor and Delivery (L&D) RN
- Location: Healthcare facility
- Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: RN License in the state of employment or compact, current certification from one of the following: AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) Instructor, AWHONN Instructor Trainer, or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM), current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, BLS certification; 1 year of clinical experience in labor and delivery nursing
- Additional Requirements: BLS certification required; RN license and relevant certifications must be current at the time of assignment
- Responsibilities: Managing deliveries, circulating cesarean sections, attending to antepartum patients, newborn assessments, and adhering to unit standards such as nurse-to-patient ratios and dress code
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must hold active licensure and certifications prior to start date and be available to start on 10/12/2026 through 01/11/2027
