Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position located in the Morristown/Goryeb area. The role involves providing specialized care within a high-risk labor and delivery unit, managing a high patient census, and performing comprehensive assessments across all stages of pregnancy, labor, and postpartum care. The RN will support the clinical team by delivering competent patient care, ensuring patient safety, and promoting positive patient outcomes.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 3-12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with no on-call hours. Holiday work may be required if needed. Staff will not float to other facilities.
  • Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an RN license. Certifications required include Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Additional Information: The RN will demonstrate assessment skills, perform direct patient care activities, maintain accurate documentation, and adhere to safety protocols including Universal Protocol and patient identification procedures. Responsibilities include patient education, chart completion, and supporting pre-admission testing processes. The position emphasizes professionalism, patient satisfaction, and accountability in a high-risk labor and delivery environment.
