Medlivo is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Honesdale, Pennsylvania.
Minimum 2+ years recent Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby RN experience required / CERTIFICATIONS – BLS, NRP, STABLE, and Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring Required / LICENSE – Active RN License Required with all credentials completed prior to start date / Schedule: Variable Days/Evenings, 12-hour shifts, 36 hrs/week, 13 weeks (7:00 AM–7:00 PM and 11:00 AM–11:00 PM; must be flexible to work both shifts) / Setting: Acute Care – Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby / EMR: Meditech / Skills: Labor management, fetal monitoring, postpartum care, newborn care, maternal assessment, vaginal deliveries, labor support, newborn stabilization, patient education, and Mother/Baby nursing required / Unit Details: Combined Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby unit; candidates must be competent in both specialties / Ratios: Based on AWHONN guidelines and unit census / Common Patient Population: Laboring mothers, postpartum mothers, newborns, and routine obstetric patients / Drips: Obstetric and postpartum medication administration as required / RT Equipment: Standard neonatal and maternal respiratory support equipment available / Charge Nurse: Unit charge nurse available per shift / Monitoring: Continuous fetal monitoring; candidates must hold Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification / Scheduling: Facility scheduling based on unit needs; no block scheduling permitted / Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend / Holiday Requirement: Required; expected to work either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day and either New Year's Eve or New Year's Day based on unit coverage / Floating: May float within Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby scope as needed / Call Requirement: None specified / Orientation: Facility-specific orientation provided / Scrubs: Any color scrubs permitted / Additional: Local travelers accepted with no rate difference. Candidates must be able to independently work both Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby assignments. Pennsylvania fingerprinting through IdentoGO must be completed prior to start; nothing may be pending at the time of assignment start. If FBI background review is required, results may take 7–10 business days. Work week runs Saturday through Friday.
