Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor & Delivery Postpartum care in a healthcare facility setting. This position involves providing comprehensive postpartum and neonatal nursing care, supporting maternal and newborn teaching, and performing a variety of clinical responsibilities to ensure patient safety and well-being. The role requires a dedicated professional available to work night shifts on a 12-hour schedule.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- One (1) year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided).
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (ANRP).
- Demonstrated ability to perform electronic fetal monitoring (EFM).
- Demonstrated IV skills and ability to perform lab draws.
- Demonstrated knowledge of high-risk medication administration (Magnesium, Oxycotin, Insulin).
- Demonstrated ability to perform Urine Point of Care testing.
- Demonstrated knowledge of capillary blood glucose testing.
- Demonstrated knowledge of IStat.
- Demonstrated ability to perform adult cardiac monitoring.
- Demonstrated knowledge of newborn monitors including pulse oximetry and cardiac monitoring.
- Demonstrated ability to perform heel sticks and venipuncture on newborns.
- Demonstrated knowledge of neonatal medication administration including IV maintenance and administration.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Bili-blankets/lights and radiant warmers.
- Demonstrated knowledge to support gynecological teaching and post-operative bladder training.
- Demonstrated knowledge to support maternal-newborn teaching.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in nursing or related field.
- Minimum three (3) years of labor and delivery experience.
- Minimum three (3) years of postpartum experience.
- Minimum one (1) year of medical/surgical nursing experience.
- Additional Information:
- Starting on 11/18/2026 and ending on 02/13/2027.
