- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit under supervision
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during labor and delivery
- Assist physicians and midwives with labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed
- Perform and document ongoing patient assessments
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
- Support patients’ emotional and physical needs throughout labor and delivery
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation
- Participate in orientation, training, and continuing education activities
- Demonstrate compassionate, patient-centered care with respect for diversity
Med Ninjas Job ID #20567. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
