Location: Pacific Campus (less than 1 mile from Colby Campus), Pavilion for Women and Children
Unit: Labor & Delivery, High Risk Perinatal Care, Level III
Start Date: ASAP
Required Experience: Minimum 2 years L&D RN experience
First-time Travelers Accepted: Yes
Weekend Requirement: Yes
Float Requirement: Yes (to Postpartum unit)
Certifications Required: BCLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring
Call Required: No
Local Candidates: Not accepted
Time Off (RTO): Must be submitted with application
Guaranteed Hours: May be called off 1 shift (12 hrs) per 2-week period
Unit Details:
19 labor and delivery beds
10 antepartum beds
30 postpartum beds
3 ORs, 2 PACU, 7-bay triage
High risk perinatal care
200+ deliveries/year preferred; open to 100–200 with screening
Staffing ratios: 1:1 labor, 1:3 PP couplets (with CNA), 1:2–3 antepartum
Triage: 3 skilled RNs/shift
Surgical techs: 2 days/2 nights
CNAs: 3/shift in Postpartum
3–4 delivering providers on-site 24/7 2 CRNAs 24/7
2 Health Unit Coordinators 24/7
Facility Details:
Level II Trauma Center, 571 beds (both campuses)
Scrub Color: Any except reddish orange Charting: EPIC

Experienced L&D RN comfortable with high-acuity, high-volume settings
Flexible to float to Postpartum
Holds all required certifications
Willing to work weekends Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Med Ninjas Job ID #11694. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
