Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) Los Angeles, CA. This role involves providing comprehensive care throughout the childbirth experience, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum/couplet care, in a high-risk academic setting. The position requires flexibility to float to UCLA Santa Monica Hospital Perinatal unit as needed.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 3X12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with a 30-minute unpaid meal break, totaling 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), 3+ years of high-risk Labor and Delivery experience at a high-volume facility, couplet care experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an academic environment.
• Responsibilities include caring for patients during childbirth, circulating for normal spontaneous vaginal deliveries and Cesarean sections, and providing postpartum and antepartum care.
• Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred, BLS, and NRP required.
• Additional Provide critical clinical skills such as administration of blood products, high-risk pregnancy management, neonatal assessment, use of fetal monitoring, and obstetric emergencies.
