Job Summary
Post-Partum Floor registered nurse (RN) in the labor and delivery postpartum (L&D PP) specialty located in an unspecified area. This role involves providing care for postpartum patients, gynecological surgery patients, and low-risk antepartum patients, with responsibilities including assessments, IV management, blood draws, and newborn care. The position requires a minimum of two years of experience as a mother-infant nurse and EPIC electronic health record experience.
Job Details
- Position Description: RN, Mother Infant Care of the postpartum couplet, postpartum patients, gynecological surgery patients, and low-risk antepartum patients. Responsibilities include assessments, IV skills, blood draws, Foley insertion/management/removal, newborn assessments, blood draws, 24-hour testing, hearing screening, glucose management, and Eat, Sleep, Console assessments.
- Certifications/Education/Experience: Valid RN license; minimum of 2 years experience as a mother-infant nurse; EPIC electronic health record experience; previous travel experience preferred.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Shifts run from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. No call requirement.
- Additional Information: Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility. Weekends are at least every third weekend; holiday schedule as assigned.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must be available to start on 10/19/2026 and the assignment ends on 01/18/2027.
