Must-Have Requirements
- 2+ years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
- BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, and NRP – REQUIRED
- Ohio RN license or eligibility to work in Ohio
- Strong experience with Antepartum, High-Risk Antepartum, and Postpartum
- Experience with vaginal and C-section deliveries
- Experience with EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
- Experience with NST (Non-Stress Tests)
- Experience managing Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, antihypertensives, heparin, and insulin drips
- Experience with postpartum hemorrhage and pregnancy-induced hypertension
- Newborn assessment and basic newborn care experience
- IV insertion/maintenance and blood/blood-product administration
- Must be willing to float between L&D, Maternal Special Care, and Postpartum
Preferred
- Charge RN experience
- Teaching hospital experience
- AWHONN Advanced
- EFM certification/experience
- Experience with high-risk newborns, including low birth weight, LGA, and neonatal hypoglycemia
Important: This is a Level 4 Maternity Center and requires nurses who are comfortable working across L&D, Maternal Special Care, and Postpartum.
