Job Requirements

• Active RN license in good standing
• At least 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, EFM, and STABLE certifications required
• Recent Epic EMR and phlebotomy experience within the last 12 months required
• Accredited nursing degree from an ACEN- or CCNE-approved program required
• Ability and willingness to float as needed
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare team
• Flexible, dependable, and committed to quality patient care

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Assist with labor management, deliveries, and related clinical procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary team members to support optimal outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the EMR
• Maintain a calm, compassionate presence for patients and families throughout the birth experience
• Adapt to unit needs and float when necessary to support patient care
