Description

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Job Description & Requirements

  • 36 hours per week
  • Shift: 12 hours, nights
  • Employment Type: Travel

shift :  7:00PM - 7:00AM / 12 weeks 

 

 

Position - TRAVEL - RN LABOR AND DELIVERY (707) 7:00PM - 7:00AM  /  12 WEEKS (1027192)

 

Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

·       Minimum 2 years recent Labor & Delivery experience

·       Experience with fetal monitoring interpretation

·       Experience circulating Cesarean sections

·       Management of high-risk OB patients and obstetric emergencies

·       Epic EMR experience

Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.

·        Experience with operative vaginal deliveries (vacuum/forceps)

·       Antepartum patient care and management

·       Experience with external cephalic versions and cerclages

·       NICU or newborn stabilization experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

·       Vaginal deliveries

·       Cesarean sections

·       Operative vaginal deliveries (vacuum/forceps)

·       External cephalic versions

·       Cerclage placement/removal

·       Iron infusions

·       Labor inductions and augmentations

·       Postpartum recovery and newborn stabilization

Best personality Fit:

·       Team-oriented and collaborative

·       Adaptable and self-directed

·       Strong communicator with providers and multidisciplinary teams

·       Calm under pressure and responsive during obstetric emergencies

·       Positive attitude with a patient-centered approach

 

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

·       NRP, ALS, BLS, AWHONN Intermediate fetal monitoring
