L&D RN – 12-Hour Nights
- 12 L&D beds, 2 C-section OR suites, 4 triage beds, 16 postpartum beds
- Approximately 160–200 births per month
- Follow AWHONN staffing and fetal monitoring guidelines
- Care for laboring and high-risk OB patients
- RNs circulate and assist with C-sections
- Must interpret own fetal monitoring strips using WatchChild
- Rare floating to Mother/Baby
- Charge RN is free of a patient assignment
- OB, neonatology, anesthesia, and RT in-house 24/7
- Surgical techs available
- Epic charting
- Modified self-scheduling
- Every other weekend and holidays required
- No call or standby
- Royal blue scrubs
- Shift: 7p–7a
- Required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Advanced Fetal Monitoring/AWHONN
- BSN not required
