Job Summary:
The Labor And Delivery (L&D) Nurse position is based in Denver, Colorado. This role involves providing specialized care for patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. The opportunity is suitable for experienced RNs seeking to work night shifts in a dynamic, high-risk obstetrics unit dedicated to maternity care.
Job Details:

- Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (FM) or AWHONN. Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of current acute care hospital labor and delivery experience. Education requirements and location requirements are satisfied.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech electronic health records system, PACU experience, and operating room experience are considered advantageous.
- Additional Information: The unit has 29 beds, 4 operating rooms, and advanced monitoring equipment from Centricity and GE. The team includes 22 RNs and 2-3 CSTs during day shifts, with appropriate staffing for night shifts. Procedures performed include vaginal and cesarean deliveries, D&C, hysterectomy, postpartum tubal ligation, cerclage placement, and versions, including high-risk OB cases. The ideal candidate is a self-starter capable of working independently and supporting team members.
