Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse Location unspecified. This position involves providing specialized care within the Labor and Delivery department, focusing on patients in labor, postpartum, well baby care, and following OB/GYN protocols. The role requires clinicians skilled in circulating Cesarean Sections, well-versed in couplet care, and capable of supporting labor and delivery processes during night shifts.
Job Details
- Position Description: Orientation dates are scheduled for 10/26, 11/2, 11/9, and 11/16, with unit needs starting as soon as possible. Shifts are 12 hours, from 7 PM to 7 AM, including holidays and some weekends. The weekend schedule entails 2-3 shifts every six weeks, with Friday and Saturday nights considered weekend shifts.
- Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as a registered nurse, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications. Experience requirements: at least 2 years of similar OB/GYN/Mother Baby/Antepartum experience, prior travel experience, and familiarity with Labor and Delivery procedures, including circulating Cesarean Sections and postpartum/newborn care.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. The assignment start date is 11/16/2026, with an end date of 02/13/2027.
- Additional Information: The candidate may be scheduled for up to four weekend shifts per six-week cycle and must be prepared to work on Labor Day holiday if required. Scrubs are provided.
