Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Mother/Baby Couplet Care is needed for a facility located in a 270-bed hospital. This role involves providing care for mother and newborns, with an emphasis on newborn transition care. The position requires flexibility to meet staffing needs, with orientation dates beginning in October. The RN will work 12-hour night shifts, with responsibilities including assisting in the neonatal intensive care unit and labor and delivery when needed. Prior travel experience is essential.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Compact or Tennessee license, BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and at least 2 years of clinical experience in Mother/Baby care. Prior travel experience required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
  • Experience & Certification Requirements: Must have experience with newborn transition care.
  • Scheduling and Orientation: Orientation begins on 10/05/2026, with subsequent sessions on 10/12/2026, 10/19/2026, and 10/26/2026. No time off approved from 09/19 to 10/17 due to Epic Go Live. Flexibility to meet unit staffing needs is required.
  • Additional Information: Must be flexible to meet scheduling needs of the unit; weekends are required, but no call is necessary. EMR systems include Cerner and GE Centricity. May float to NICU and L&D as needed.
