Labor and Delivery Nurse in the L&D department at a Level I trauma facility located in an unspecified city. Job Details
- Position: Labor & Delivery RN
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour Night Shift, 1845 0715, with variable days
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications:
- Certifications: NRP, ACLS, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring
- Education: Not specified
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, including labor & delivery, in a Level I trauma facility
- Preferred Qualifications:
- STABLE certification
- Experience with patient ratios such as Labor: 1:11:2 and Antepartum: 1:21:3
- Additional Information:
- Clinical procedures include circulating in the operating room, emergency C-sections, emergency D&C procedures, hysterectomies, phlebotomy, IV starts, magnesium and Pitocin infusions, epidural catheter removal, fetal monitoring equipment experience, and support from surgical OB techs and unit secretaries.
- Support services include respiratory, anesthesia, and ventilator management available 24/7.
- Orientation includes 24 shifts, with HR new hire orientation lasting 4 days.
- No RTO approved within the first two weeks, and RTO not requested at submission may not be approved.
