Job Requirements

  • Active RN license with Labor & Delivery nursing experience
  • At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience required
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced obstetric and maternal care setting
  • Current certifications and onboarding compliance items may be required prior to start

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care
  • Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond promptly to changes in condition
  • Support physicians and the interdisciplinary care team during deliveries and related procedures
  • Educate and support patients and families during the birth experience
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit protocols and safety standards
  • Collaborate with the care team to promote positive outcomes for mothers and newborns
