Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in lake charles, Louisiana.

SHIFT: NIGHTS- 7:00PM-7:00AM

START DATE/ASAP

 

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

  • BLS required
  • RN License in state of employment or compact
  • Current certification required from one of the following: AWHONN Intermediate FHM Instructor, AWHONN Instructor Trainer, or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) (certification received 1 month after passing test date***)
  • Current NRP certification required
  • Current ACLS certification required
  Dress Code

Navy blue or pink scrubs

  Nurse / Patient Ratio AWHONN standards:

1:1 on Pitocin for induction or augmentation

1:2 cervical ripening (Cytotec or low dose Pitocin)

1:2-3 Antepartum (depending on acuity)

1:2-3 Triage

1:1- Immediate postpartum (2 hours postbirth) (mother & baby)

Med Ninjas Job ID #17205. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
