Labor and Delivery Nurse Location: Unknown. This position involves providing expert care to female patients throughout pregnancy, labor, and delivery. The role requires a strong background in delivering high-quality maternal care within a dynamic clinical setting, ensuring safety and positive outcomes for mothers and newborns.

Job Details

  • Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state or district, with two years of Labor and Delivery experience.
  • Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory. NRP and AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring certifications are also required.
  • Responsibilities include managing admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-operative care, and deliveries (vaginal and cesarean). The activity on the unit includes working with fetal monitors and documenting with Cerner and Fetalink.
  • Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Submission Details: Candidates must currently reside at least 50 miles away from the facility.
