Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery, OB/GYN, or high-risk obstetric nursing experience
• Experience caring for high-risk OB patients and managing medication infusions
• Ability to manage Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate infusions safely and per protocol
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• Strong communication skills and a dependable, team-oriented work ethic
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered women’s health environment

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Administer and monitor medication infusions, including Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate, according to unit protocols
• Support high-risk obstetric care in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Start IVs and assist with routine Labor & Delivery unit procedures as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
• Contribute to a supportive, collaborative nursing environment focused on excellent patient outcomes
