Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse in Idaho This position involves providing specialized care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum. The role requires leveraging clinical expertise in obstetric nursing to support patients through childbirth and ensure positive outcomes in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with flexibility to include every other weekend and holiday rotation, including Christmas and Christmas Eve.
- Required Qualifications: Idaho nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) certification, and a minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, assisting with delivery procedures, and ensuring compliance with clinical protocols.
- Preferences: Experience with obstetric emergencies and certification in neonatal or maternal health is advantageous.
- Additional Information: Must have OR circulator experience.
