  • Position Description:
    The Mother/Baby Couplet Care Nurse assesses patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs. They review patient histories, diagnostics, and laboratory data to develop and revise individualized care plans, including discharge planning. The role involves direct patient care, coordination, delegation, supervision of licensed nurses, and documentation in accordance with policies and regulatory standards. The nurse promotes continuity of care, responds to patient progress, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Required Qualifications:
    Current, valid RN license in the state of practice, or a temporary/interim RN license or compact RN licensure for the current state of practice. BLS certification is required. Experience in the clinical area for which applying is desired. Must maintain clinical performance competencies demonstrated through annual validations.
  • Schedule:
    Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information:
