Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse in a hospital settinglocated in a vibrant healthcare campus. This role involves providing specialized obstetric care, including attending deliveries and high-risk pregnancies, within a team-oriented environment that emphasizes camaraderie and professional growth.

Job Details

  • Certifications required: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS (preferred).
  • Education requirements: Valid Compact license in state of practice; minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional qualifications: Experience with Epic electronic charting system; experience attending all deliveries and high-risk pregnancies; ability to assist with high-risk delivery procedures; competency in administering blood and blood products, anticoagulation therapy, and managing patient care in labor and postpartum units.
  • Experience with GYN surgeries, couplet care, and low-risk antepartum is preferred.
  • Responsibilities include attending high-risk deliveries, managing antepartum and postpartum patients, and performing specialized procedures such as epidural placement, use of PCA pumps, and wound care.
  • Travelers may be asked to float to nearby facilities based on operational needs.
  • Candidates must provide responses regarding prior work at Providence facilities, along with two recent references covering at least one year within the last three years.
