Job Summary
Labor and Delivery registered nurse (RN) position in a regional referral center located near Lake Havasu City. The role involves providing comprehensive care for childbearing age women, including labor, postpartum, and nursery services. The position offers an opportunity to work in a facility with a Level Trauma 3 designation, equipped with GE monitors and Panda warmers, serving a diverse patient population with a focus on maternal and neonatal health.

  • Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience, certifications including Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Fetal Monitoring, and experience in labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery care
  • Preferred Qualifications: At least 2 years of L&D experience
  • Float: Float rotation may be required
  • Additional Information: The unit has 8 beds with patient ratios following AWHONN guidelines. The team utilizes GE monitors and Panda warmers, with electronic health records managed on OBTV/Medhost EMR. The role involves caring for childbearing women with occasional gynecological surgery cases. The position is a replacement for the current permanent staff, with the start date on 10/12/2026 and end date on 01/11/2027.
