Travel RN – Labor & Delivery – Nights

⏳ Contract: 8 weeks
Shift: Nights
Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7p.m.-7:30a.m)
⏱️ Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to provide safe, quality nursing care while assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care. The RN will collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team and provide patient and family education.
Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
Provide quality care based on individual patient needs
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly
Implement physician orders according to established policies and procedures
Provide patient and family education
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Ensure equipment and supplies are readily available for patient care
Demonstrate strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
Manage multiple priorities in urgent situations
Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and coworkers
Supervise and delegate appropriate tasks to nursing assistants
Requirements
✅ Active Ohio RN License
✅ CPR/BLS
✅ Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) Certificate – Required
✅ 3+ years of RN experience
✅ Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
✅ Strong critical-thinking and decision-making skills
✅ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✅ Ability to handle frequent patient-care activities
