• Patient Acuity: High-acuity obstetric care in a 19-bed unit
• Call Requirement: 12 hours in a 6-week scheduling period
• EMR: Epic
• Float Requirement: Floating required as needed

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license with Labor & Delivery experience
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring class completed and passed
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring class and EFM certification preferred
• Ability to safely care for high-acuity patients in a fast-paced obstetric environment
• Degree accreditation must be on profile, or 5 years of experience is required
• Must be prepared to submit all required demographic information at time of application

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, skilled nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
• Monitor fetal and maternal status and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Support safe deliveries and manage a variety of obstetric care needs
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the care team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
• Deliver care in a 19-bed Labor & Delivery unit with ratios of 1:2 to 1:1 as needed
• Float to other units or sister campuses when required
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow established clinical protocols
• Adapt to a team culture that values professionalism, flexibility, and strong collaboration
