Lactation and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position is available at a regional healthcare organization in Asheville, North Carolina. This role involves providing specialized care in a busy Labor and Delivery unit within a major medical facility. The position requires delivering high-quality patient care with an emphasis on safety, support, and clinical excellence in a high-volume environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or current RN license, minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery (L&D) experience, high risk obstetric experience, and certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Basic Life Support (BLS)/Advanced Life Support (ALS)
  • Preferred Qualifications: Circulating experience in obstetrics and delivery procedures
  • Additional Information: The unit handles vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage procedures, and C-Hyst. The team consists of supportive, adaptable, and outgoing professionals committed to patient-centered care. The role is a contractor replacement position starting on 09/21/2026 and ending on 12/21/2026.
  • Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
