Contract | Night Shift (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to laboring patients throughout all stages of labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery
Monitor maternal and fetal status using electronic fetal monitoring and other assessment tools
Assist physicians and midwives during deliveries, including routine and high-risk births
Administer medications, IV fluids, and epidural support in collaboration with the care team
Educate patients and families on the labor and delivery process, postpartum care, and newborn care

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio or a compact license
Current BLS certification required
Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
Prior experience in Labor and Delivery nursing

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience with high-risk obstetric patients
Familiarity with electronic fetal monitoring and interpretation
Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced labor and delivery environment
