Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position in a facility located in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The role involves providing labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn nursery care, including pre-transition newborn care. The position supports a small, 6-bed unit serving patients of all ages, with a focus on intrapartum and postpartum care.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shift with 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN licensure in Tennessee, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), AWHONN (The Association of Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses), BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support). Minimum of 1 year of experience in labor and delivery.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in OB, Labor and Delivery, and nursery care; knowledge of pre-transition newborn care.
  • Additional Information: Orientation is biweekly on Mondays. All clinical staff in Tennessee must be verified against the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to start date. Candidates must reside at least 60 miles or greater from the facility. The unit is a partner in providing care to all ages with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:1 for laboring mothers.
