Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) location unspecified. Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, 3 years of experience in Labor, Delivery, and Postpartum nursing, certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a high-acuity obstetric setting.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: The unit consists of 5 LDRP beds, 3 overflow beds, and 3 triage beds. The patient population varies from low to high risk, with low volume obstetric cases. Equipment includes an epidural, nitrous oxide, and wireless monitoring systems. The electronic health record system used is Meditech with OBIX. The role involves adherence to hospital policies and standards of care.
