Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) RN Las Colinas, TX. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in the Labor and Delivery unit of a healthcare facility. The position requires experience in charge nursing and managing a variety of obstetric clinical procedures, with a focus on patient safety and quality care delivery during the night shifts.
Job Details
- Certifications required: Active Texas RN License temporary licenses will not be accepted
- Required Qualifications: 2+ years of experience, ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN membership or certification preferred, Meditech experience preferred
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Responsibilities include circulating during cesarean sections and adhering to unit-specific policies on floating, attendance, and attire
- The unit consists of 12 beds with a patient ratio of 2:1, supported by one unit technician per shift and one unit secretary on day shifts
- Documentation system utilized: Meditech
- Additional requirements include maintaining a neat and clean appearance, covering tattoos, and adhering to piercings and body art policies
- Candidates must be willing to work charge nursing duties and have the ability to work weekend shifts as scheduled.
