  • Documentation: Meditech & CPIN (Primary)
  • Scheduling: Shifts will be scheduled to fill vacancies. Holiday requirements will be discussed during the interview.
  • Patient Population: High-risk obstetrical / antepartum patients
  • High-Acuity Experience: Preferred

Candidate Requirements

Must Have

  • 2 years of hospital experience
  • High-risk obstetrical experience in Labor & Delivery or Antepartum
  • BLS
  • NRP
  • AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
  • Active Texas RN License
    • Temporary licenses will not be accepted
  • Experience with high-risk/high-acuity obstetrical patients

Preferred / Advanced Skills

  • ACLS
  • RNC
  • Meditech experience
  • Experience caring for high-acuity patients

Required Certifications

  • BLS
  • NRP
  • AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring

Clinical Skills / Patient Experience

  • Magnesium sulfate management
  • Preterm labor management
  • High-risk obstetrical patient care
  • Antepartum nursing care
  • Intermediate fetal monitoring

Floating
