Interventional Radiology (IR) – Registered Nurse (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days (12-hour or 10-hour shifts) | On-site | Rolling start dates available every other week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care in an Interventional Radiology setting, supporting a range of image-guided procedures
- Assist with procedures including tunneled lines, nephrostomy tubes, drains, biopsies, embolizations, chest tubes, and TIPS
- Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after interventional procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation, including 1 weeknight call per week and 1 weekend call per month
- Adhere to department dress code; Navy Blue scrubs required
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- Experience in Interventional Radiology or Special Procedures
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Hands-on experience with tunneled lines, nephrostomy tubes, and drain management
- Familiarity with embolization procedures and TIPS
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, procedural environment with on-call responsibilities
