Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Interventional Radiology and Special Procedures setting
- Administer and monitor procedural sedation during diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Assist with diagnostic imaging and IR procedures, including pacemaker interrogation
- Deliver care to adult acute care patients in accordance with established clinical protocols
- Float to other affiliated facilities as needed, provided requisite job specifications are met
- Complete all required non-billable orientation modules prior to and during assignment as directed
Required Qualifications
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Prior experience in Radiology and Adult Acute Care settings
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in ICU, Emergency Department, PACU, or a procedural area
- Radiology Imaging Nursing Certification
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Experience in a teaching hospital environment
