Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within an Interventional Radiology / Special Procedures unit
- Assist with interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout
- Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after procedures, responding promptly to changes in condition
- Participate in on-call rotation: one full week of call per month (Monday 1700 through the following Monday 0700); weekday call runs 1730–0700 and weekend call runs Saturday 0700 through Monday 0700
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of California
- Current ACLS certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Ability to fulfill on-call obligations as described in the schedule
- Availability for orientation on designated orientation dates
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an Interventional Radiology or Special Procedures setting
- Familiarity with IR-specific equipment, contrast agents, and procedural protocols
- Strong critical thinking and ability to respond effectively in fast-paced procedural environments
