RN – Interventional Radiology / Special Procedures

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Full-Time | Days | 4 x 10-hour shifts | Expected 40 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Interventional Radiology / Special Procedures setting
- Assist with IR procedures including pre-procedure assessment, intra-procedure support, and post-procedure monitoring
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Monitor and document patient status, vital signs, and responses throughout procedures
- Maintain compliance with applicable clinical protocols and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Georgia (or compact eligibility)
- BLS certification required
- Prior experience in Interventional Radiology or Special Procedures
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification
- Experience with IR-specific equipment and imaging technology
- Familiarity with conscious sedation protocols
