Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM | 1 weekend per month | 4–5 on-call nights per pay period (including weekend call)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within an Interventional Radiology / Special Procedures setting
- Assist with IR procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases
- Monitor and assess patient status during interventional procedures and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Participate in on-call rotation, including evenings and weekend call as scheduled
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary IR team to support efficient workflow and quality patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Indiana or a compact state license
- BLS certification required
- Experience in Interventional Radiology or Special Procedures nursing
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation including evenings and weekends
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an IR lab or procedural/surgical nursing environment
- Familiarity with IR equipment, contrast agents, and sterile technique
- ACLS certification
