Interventional Radiology RN – Travel Contract

Position: Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology (IR)
Shift: Days | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Contract: 13 Weeks
Call: Shared with Franklin; currently approximately 1 call shift/month based on department needs, with Franklin RNs covering 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: As specified by contract

Position Overview

The Interventional Radiology RN provides nursing care to inpatient and outpatient patients undergoing image-guided procedures and radiology interventions. The RN will also perform PICC insertions and provide consultative support for vascular access placement.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care before, during, and after IR procedures
• Care for adult, geriatric, and adolescent patients
• Assist with image-guided minimally invasive procedures
• Perform PICC insertions and support vascular access procedures
• Monitor patients and administer medications as required
• Provide patient education and recovery care
• Float onsite within the RN's skill set as needed
• Float to other sites within a 40-mile radius as required

Requirements

• Active Wisconsin RN license in hand at submission
• BLS
• ACLS
• RN certification
• Recent Interventional Radiology experience
• EPIC experience
• Previous travel nursing experience
• Must be comfortable with call and floating requirements

Call & Holiday Requirements

• Approximately 1 call rotation per month currently
• Call is shared with Franklin RNs based on department needs
• Holidays rotate with regular staff
