Registered Nurse (RN) - Interventional Radiology

The Registered Staff Nurse (RN) provides holistic care to patients and their families. This role focuses on independent, collaborative, and delegated nursing functions as outlined in standards and competencies specific to the assigned specialty area. The RN is responsible for delivering care across various patient demographics, including neonates, infants, children, young adults, adults, and older adults throughout their life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute the Standards of Nursing Practice, which include assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Develop and revise individualized plans of care for patients, ensuring coordination of care among various disciplines.
• Delegate activities to other healthcare providers as appropriate.
• Participate collaboratively in practice decisions and accountability for nursing practices.
• Implement leadership qualities and skills to define, enhance, and improve practice standards and the care environment, while promoting exceptional patient care.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of critical care nursing experience (Emergency Department/Intensive Care Unit) is required.
• Experience in Interventional Radiology nursing is required.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS are required.
• Experience with the adult patient population is required.
• Epic software experience is preferred.
• Experience in stroke care is preferred.

Work Schedule:

• Full-time commitment with potential for 10-hour shifts if 8-hour shifts are not suitable.
• No weekend shifts required.
• Availability for 1-2 call shifts every two weeks is necessary.
